This multi-cache is the antithesis of the LPC and the Cache and Dash. It's not for the faint of heart. If you think you're a Big Dog you can expect a minimum of 10 miles of hiking, lots of bushwhacking, as much elevation change as the DC area has to offer and four beautiful spots in my favorite local park. Be advised that some cachers have reported over 20 miles of hiking en route to the final location. It really depends on how much additional caching you do along the way and where you choose to park.

There are no puzzles or games here, just straightforward grit and determination. Each cache has coordinates to the next and the posted coordinates will lead you to Stage 1. Please take the time to rehide each stage as well as you found it.

The hike is most likely a two-day event. As the secondary name suggests, the stages are near the four corners of the park and so depending on how you enter the park near each stage you'll probably claim Stages 1 and 2 one day and then 3 and 4 the next.

The Biggest Dogs will work this one in a single day, though. It was placed in a single day, and I logged just under 13 miles and over 2500 ft of elevation gain in the process, but I also claimed a couple other caches along the way and entered the park by boat for Stages 3 and 4.
