Paseo de 1,5 Km. por hayedos con pequeño desnivel, visitando uno de los yacimientos prehistóricos más importantes de Euskal Herria. El crómlech de Oianleku Norte es muy singular, al tratarse de dos círculos de piedras unidos. Area de picnic.One and half kilometre walk with some slopes across forest, visiting one of the most important prehistoric sites in the Basque Country. The called Oianleku North cromlech is very singular, composed of two joined circles of stones. Picnic area.
Ir a Oiartzun desde la A8 o la N-1, y tomar la carretera GI-3631 a Artikutza. Esta carretera va ganando altura hasta el Collado de Bianditz, en el Km. 14,3. para bajar luego a la finca de Artikutza.Al llegar al mojón (Metálico) del Km. 13, conducir atentamente 600 mts, hasta ver, en una curva a la derecha, una fila de coníferas pegadas a la izquierda de la carretera. Allí mismo baja a la izquierda una pista asfaltada al estacionamiento, que es el lugar de inicio.El estacionamiento tiene las coordenadas (N 43 14.849/ W 1 49.405)..En esta zona de estacionamiento hay tres paneles relativos a los restos prehistóricos. Se trata de un lugar mal señalizado y poco visitado, a pesar de su valor histórico y su belleza.Desde el estacionamiento, caminar por la pista que sale a la izquierda hasta la posición N43º 14´907 W1º 49´737. Aqui hay restos de un crónlech y una buena vista sobre Donostia y Pasaia. Seguir por la pista que baja hacia la derecha, llegando enseguida a una valla metálica verde. PREGUNTA: ¿Cuántas barras verticales tiene en total?. Este valor es "AA".Continuar por esta pista hasta llegar al cruce con la pista principal en posición N43º 15´071 W1º49´494´ (Hay un pequeño mojón de cemento). Hacia arriba se llega al estacionamiento, bajando, a la izquierda, seguimos hacia al crónlech "Oianleku Norte". (Al regresar subiremos directamente al estacionamiento ignorando este cruce)Enseguida, a 150 mts, a la izquierda se encuentra una fuente (Normalmente seca), detrás de la cual está el crónlech "Oianleku Sur". A continuación, una cabaña con numerosas mesas de picnic alrededor. Pregunta: ¿Cuántos barrotes verticales suman entre la puerta y las ventanas de la cabaña?. Valor= B.Enseguida, pasada la cabaña, , se puede admirar en la ladera el espectacular crónlech de "Oianleku Norte" (N43º15´248 W1º 49´600), y un poco más arriba el crónlech de "Basate".Finalmente, el Caché está en las coordenadas N43 15.xxx W1 49.yyy. xxx= (AA x 13) - 5yyy= 139 x BEl caché es una caja de plástico transparente envuelta en una bolsa negra, y contiene:- Log, lápiz y sacapuntas.- Dos pendientes- Una lupa- Una baraja de cartas de W. Disney- Un señuelo de pesca- Una pulsera Para terminar la excursión, bajando desde el collado de Bianditz hasta la Casa del guarda de Artikutza (+1 Km.), hay un paseo muy bonito que sale a la izquierda de esta casa.Go to Oiartzun from A8 or N-1, and take the road GI-3631 to Artikutza. In this point, in the left side of the road starts a trail that goes down to a place for parking, which is the starting point.This point is N43 14.849 W1 49.405.In this starting point, there a three panels with some information about these prehistoric remains. This is a poorly signalled place that has few visitors, in spite of it´s beauty and historic relevance.From there, take the trail starting on your left, and get to position N43º14´907 W1º 49´737. There are remains of a cromlech and a nice view over St. Sebastian and Pasaia. Take the trail turning down on your right, arriving soon to a green gate. QUESTION: How many vertical bars does it have in total? This value is "AA".Go on with this trail, until you cross the main trail coming from the parking to Oianleku, in position N43º 15´071 W1º49´494. There is a small milestone on the ground. Going upwards is the way to the parking space, but we go donw on the left to "Oianleku north". On our way back to the car, we will ignore this cross, going up directly to the parking place.After 150 mts. we get to a fountain (Normally dry), behind which is cromlech "Oianleku South" on a small hill. Right there is a hut with many picnic tables around. QUESTION: How many vertical bars does the hut have in total, windows and door? This value is "B".After the hut, on the slope on your left is the magnificent cromlech called "Oianleku North" (N43º 15´248 W1º 49.600). We can admire it, and also see "Basate" cromlech on top of the hill just above the previous one.Finally, the cache is in N43º15´xxx W1´º49´yyy (It is far away from the cromlech to prevent mugglers and any sort of damage to the environment)xxx= (13 x AA) -5yyy= 139 x BIf you like to walk a bit more in a lovely spot, go down from Bianditz col to the gard house of Artikutza (+1Km.), and take a path on the left of the house.SOBRE LOS CRÓMLECHS: Son círculos de piedras que datan por lo general del primer milenio A.C. Hay evidencia de que representan posiciones y movimientos de los astros en el firmamento. Los pobladores de la zona, dedicados al pastoreo, y con supuestas creencias astrales, incineraban y enterraban a sus muertos en estos lugares. Muchos han sido excavados, hallándose en algunos de ellos lascas, fragmentos de cerámica, carbón y restos humanos calcinados...ABOUT CROMLECHS: Generally they are circles of stones dated in the first millenium BC. There is evidence about the fact that they represent the position and movement of stars in the sky. The people living in the area, dedicated to herding, and suposedly with astral beliefs, incinerated and buried the remains of the dead in this places. Many have been excavated, and in some of them were found stone tools, ceramic, coal and calcinated human remains...
