Geocache Description:

Airports equal waiting time and we all know the best way to spend waiting time is by searching for geocaches so now you can have fun while waiting at Arlanda Airport.

This virtual can be solved in 2 ways, one before the security check and one after security in Terminal 5. The first step where the virtual icon is placed on the geocaching map is needed for both versions. To log this cache you need to have solved it in one of the ways but feel free to solve it both ways if you have lots of waiting time. In order to solve this cache you need to find information in different places and use the answers to figure out what where to send an e-mail to. If you got it all right you will get a reply e-mail within a minute confirming that you can log this cache as found.

Before security in SkyCity and Terminal 5

One of the first things you see as you approach Arlanda airport by car, buss or plane is the flight control tower. The artwork on the tower is designed by artist Silja Rantanen and has texts written by Antoine de Saint-Exupérys (author of The Little Prince) on the stripes of the black and white "trunks". A good viewing point where you can read the text on the tower are the coordinates of this virtual cache (where the ghost is placed on the map). At the top of the double trunk are two pods or decks. XXXXX = What colour is the top one?

Arlanda Tower

AA = Total number of metal water nozzles on the 4 sides of the earth made by Ernst Billgren

Fountain

B = Number of sails you can see in SkyCity

CCCC = First name of the artist who created this group of sculptures.

Step B

Find the sculpture of a plane made by artist Anders Åberg. D = the number of houses on the same wing as the windmill

EEEE = the year the sculpture Nya Vingar was given to the airport

Nya Vingar

FFF = number of students in Väringaskolan who helped make the worlds largets bead mosaic in 2015.
