There was a geocache in Tyler Heights Park a while back but it was archived and the Park was crying out for a new one. The location of the original cache became such a popular spot for people, mainly children, to run and jump on, that the cache had to be archived.
On the Distrcit of Sechelt website, Tyler Heights Park is described as being about 0.4 hectares (1 acre) and boasts remarkable rock outcroppings and awesome ocean views with pathways moving through this unique, passive natural landscape. There is a water drinking fountain, 3 park benches, a doggie bag dispenser, 1 playground area, 1 garbage can, but no public washrooms. It is located at 6209 Tyler Road at the intersection of Ballie and Tyler Roads in West Sechelt.
This area was dedicated as Park by a land developer, Ken Mahon, as a requirement of rezoning some of the adjacent land. I hope you enjoy the Park and take in the view.
