On June 29, 1956 President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956 which created the Dwight D. Eisenhower System of Interstate and Defense Highways. On Aug. 2, Missouri awarded a contract for work on I-70 (U.S. 40 at the time - the Mark Twain Expressway in St. Charles County), and on Aug. 13 this project became the first interstate project to be awarded and to start construction after the signing of the 1956 act. In 1992, the section of I-70 through Glenwood Canyon in Colorado was the last piece of the originally planned Interstate Highway system to open to traffic.

Today, Interstate 70 runs through 10 different states from Maryland into Utah.

Your challenge is to find a cache in 10 different states. This I-70 challenge does NOT require you to find a cache in each of the I-70 states. Every state counts.

To qualify to log this cache, you must have found a cache in 10 different states.

Please use this official challenge checker to determine if you qualify.
