Come join us for a SECOND YEAR of trash cleanup and cache seeking at Hubbard Park and earn that shiny souvenir for your profile! All are welcome and you can stay for as long as you want. Supplies such as gloves and bags will be provided by the Springfield Parks Department. If you have wading boots, bring them; we hope to clean up the shoreline of Dimmock Pond as well.
I hosted a CITO here last year and it was INSANELY successful. Unfortunately, we couldn't get to everywhere and some of the trash has crept back in, so another day of cleanup is in order. I said last year that some caches were being planned, and I want to show that wasn't an empty promise... we'll try to work our way over to my new gadget cache (Locks, Logic, and the Log GC6VYD6)
Feel free to bring some trackables, swag and containers to exchange. If you've been to one of my events, you know there's prizes too...
Afterwards, we'll be hosting a potluck barbecue right at Hubbard. Check out the other event listing for info!GC722H2
Please log "Will Attend" as soon as possible so we can determine how many sets of equipment we will need. Also, be aware that members of the neighborhood and Park Department may join us for the fun!
We can't wait to match some more names with faces, and help clean up the park! Hope to see you there!
