Geocache Description:

This cache will bring you to Echo Lake Park in Oakville, Connecticut.

Even in the summer months, there will be no bushwhacking!

This cache is in honor of my Father's (coachlopes480) retirement from being a police officer. He was hired at the Danbury Police Department on July 18 1988, and climbed the career ladder there for 26 years until getting the news that he is eligible for retirement. His badge number was 480.

As a Congratulations for his accomplishment, I have placed this cache in his honor.

I would like every person that finds this cache to take one of the sticker badges that I have placed in the cache. It will be a symbol that wherever you are, you are contributing to his journey into retirement and beyond. .
