Geocache Description:

This cache had to be moved on 8/1/03 resulting in a change in the values for each letter of the 'bet. This is a puzzle cache and the listed coords are within 2 miles of the actual cache site. The difficulty rating is due to the puzzle which may be re-rated depending on results. The cache is a sign only and the container is an Altoids box covered by camouflage tape.

One night, a potato family – the mother potato, Ima Tater, the father potato, Dick, and their daughter, Ore Ida, sat down to dinner. Midway through the meal, the daughter spoke up. "Mother, Father?" she said, "I have an announcement to make."
"And what might that be?" said Ima, seeing the obvious excitement in her daughter's eyes.
"Well," replied Ore Ida, with a proud but sheepish grin, "I'm getting married!"
Ima squealed with surprise and exclaimed, "Married! That's wonderful! And who are you marrying, Ore Ida?"
"I'm marrying one of the Sweet Potato boys!", she replied.
Father Dick Tater exploded in anger. "No way a daughter of mine is marrying into that family! You could have any Idaho or Russet in this county and you elect to take up with that kind. Why, you might as well just marry a Rutabaga or an Onion, this is a recipe for disaster. You bring him around here and I will whip him for sure." You see, Dick Tater always had to be the boss. He always told everyone what to do.
The mother potato tried to intervene and plaintively said, "The Sweet Taters always have something nice to say about everyone, don’t they? And this family surely could use some of that. I have heard that they are wealthy too; that they don’t fritter away any of their money unnecessarily."
After the father potato stewed for the best part of a weekend, he finally relented, and a meeting with Sweet was arranged. Sweet entered wearing his best orange jacket and Dick wore his usual mottled brown. Dick eyed Sweet as he walked in. Both sized each other up while Sweet chipped away at Dick’s tough outer crust flake by flake. To make a story short, in the end, it all turned out to be good and Sweet and Ore Ida married and right away had their first little sprout, Tater Tot.
As Tater Tot grew, he became interested in genealogy. He found that he was descended from two common families, so this cache was placed by Tater in honor of his heritage. He says that each letter of the alphabet has a special value for him:
A=8 I=0 Q=7 B=7 J=2 R=2 C=9 K=5 S=1 D=5 L=0 T=7 E=6 M=1 U=1 F=1 N=0 V=5 G=0 O=2 W=9 H=3 P=3 X=0 Y=0 Z=7
Once the solution is yours, do this:
use only the 7 least significant digits of the latitude and truncate the longitude to 8 digits.
