The road dates from year 1700 and was traveled by turks, tartars, goths, carpians, in their journey to conquer others nations.
These places offered them everything they need. Blinded and hungered for gold and silver, they plundered fortunes and they harassed, and mocked the locals.
The old road over hills and valleys, crossing villages and mountains, was marked with stone crosses on every important crossroad. When you will see this kind of crosses,you will know that you are on the old road that was crossed by the invaders long ago. Now, the road it's not visible any more, is covered with grass and crosses people gardens. Only the locals remember, from time to time, the pain that was brought on their land by the invaders.
