This is the first cache that I have hidden, spontaneously placed on a trip with my dad, dog Bella, and little cousin Henry to our favourite lesser known beach, Hunmanby Gap!
I've been thinking for a while about placing a cache of my own, and while walking to and from the car we discovered this location. It was our first trip to this beach in a while, filled with memories of taking our last dog on long walks and sitting down for an ice cream at the local café.
Today was Bella's first time in the sea, an she had a great time splashing around with all the other dogs on the beach!
As this beach is less well known than other local beaches (especially Scarborough and Filey), I thought it would be a good location to place a cache to encourage more people to explore this wonderful part of the Yorkshire Coast. You may be able to drive down the hill close to the cache as there are a couple of parking spaces at the bottom, but I recommend using the paid car park in a nearby field at the top of the hill, or parking on a housing street a little further away.
