This geocache will take you to the lovely and scenic CEDAR POINT STATE PARK.

Cedar Point State Park, one of the oldest state parks in New York, is a popular spot, offering excellent camping, fishing, boating and swimming. The beach is sheltered and sandy, there are docks for boats, a fishing pier and picnic grounds. From the overlook area, visitors can watch ocean-going freighters pass by.

The cache is a regular size ammo can hidden on the outside perimeter of the recreational area within the park. During regular Park season fees may apply. During the off season it would be a walkable distance to the cache GZ.

Here you will enjoy a magnificent vista of the St Lawrence River. Feel free to sit and enjoy the waterfront and have yourself a picnic time at the tables and benches provided. I chose this spot for its beauty and for the peaceful scenic environment it affords in ANY season.

Please as with any geocache please replace the cache as you found it and in the MANNER OF A COURTEOUS hide for those who follow. If you believe it needs additional camo to make it secure please enhance it for its security but do not inhibit the find.

IF there are any concerns with the geocache itself please contact the cache owner as soon as possible or through the link provided within this cache description,

We hope that these caches will remain for many people to enjoy.

BYOP and perhaps your picnic items as this is a great place for a stopover and a smiley.
