This is the 1st of a series of caches placed on the beautiful Bolen Bluff trail just south of the Paynes Prairie Eco passage on US Hwy 441. You are looking for a medium container (this container has been replaced many times, so I've no idea what size or shape it is). This first cache is wheelchair accessible. Please take time to hike the trail. It does wonders to calm the harried body and soul from a week of urban rush.
The trail takes you through a shady mesic hammock with majestic oak trees, other hardwoods, cabbage palm, palmettos, that borders the prairie. This wonderful, peaceful retreat from busy city life lies just south of the Paynes Prairie eco-passage on US Hwy441 and makes for a great hike for the family. Deer, Bunnies, armadillos, squirrels are among the denizens of the woods. Sometimes the Prairie's bison or horses will wander in the shady woods. Birders love the abundance of warblers and other song birds.
