We Will Never Forget—Endure to the End! Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

BlueRajah: I am archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Please notice that I asked you some time ago to check this cache, and no action was taken. I had hoped that the cache may be replaced, or a note placed that you were going to go check on this cache in the near future.

If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the next three months please contact me, and assuming it meets the guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.
Thank you,

Geocache Description:

1st Cache Clue is a micro-cache--the coordinates on this cache page get you to this clue. You shouldn't have to move the microcache to get the coordinates. You can see them through the container.
2nd Cache Clue is a micro cache giving the coordinates to the final cache.
Final cache is a large ammo box.

There are five additional caches along this trail you can visit:

We Will Never Forget--You're Halfway There--GC8E28
We Will Never Forget--Upward and Onward!--GCD1BC
We Will Never Forget--Shoot for the Stars!--GCF744
Peak Above Centerville--GCF78C

"Remember .... remember ... September 11. One of the greatest atrocities in human history was committed against America. No, do more than remember. Never forget." Tony Parsons ... Daily Mirror ... September 11, 2002

I think Someone really wanted me to get this cache placed tonight. There was a break in the weather when I got home from work and by the time I was completing the cache, the storms were rolling back in.

This cache is dedicated to all you great geocachers out there that make this sport so much fun. I hope you find great enjoyment on your journey up the mountain. It's absolutely beautiful now with the fall colors and the spring is gorgeous with all the new flowers along the trail.

This is the third cache planned in a series along the Parrish Canyon trail just to the east of Centerville. I just couldn't wait until spring to place this third cache. I decided that follow-on cachers could get at least two months of caching to this site before the snow gets real deep so just couldn't wait. The Parrish Canyon trail goes all the way to Skyline Drive. Parking coordinates for the trailhead are at N40° 55.345 W111° 51.979. You can drive a car up the dirt road to this parking location. If for some reason you can't make it to the parking coords, you can park on the road just below the new Centerville City Reservoir (top of Parrish Lane) and walk from there. The container is plum full of goodies! Please trade fairly in consideration for your fellow cachers. There's no reason to go off the trail other than to find the microcaches and the final cache. You may want to have the hints available just in case you're having a problem finding the microcaches. You will also notice that the Parrish canyon trail starts going up Parrish Canyon and then switchbacks across the front of the mountain and goes over to Centerville canyon and then up the ridge between the two canyons. So, don't be surprised by this. Definitely shouldn't go bushwhacking up the hill side--the scrub oak is very nasty and not very forgiving.
