BIOTE #6: I Wish I Was A Car Dealership Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

PenguinFamily: When I placed this series of caches a while ago the economy was in the dumps and the car dealership had closed. As the economy recovered, a powerspots (motorcycles, boats, ATVs) dealer moved in here. They then moved up the road into their own dedicated facility, and this is a car dealership again. I'm archiving this cache since the container is no longer in good shape. Thanks to all that found it.

Geocache Description:

BIOTE – Blame it on the Economy. This is a series of caches around the McKinney area, each of which are located at a location that isn’t today what it was intended to be a few short years ago. We hope you enjoy your tour of McKinney.

This location used to be the home of ElDorado Jeep (and maybe Olds?). However, with the recession, this part of the dealership family closed a couple years ago (maybe 2008?). About two years ago a motorcycle shop took the opportunity to move into this location. It is a great location for them, but it seems odd to have this much parking when new motorcycles aren't typically kept outside overnight at dealers. It did come in handy for staging motorcycles nearly 700 motorcycles for the USMC Toys for Tots ride back in December 2010.

The cache is a simple park and grab. Given the lack of cover at this location, you will be easily spotted by muggles if you come during business hours. Note that the shop is closed Sunday and Monday, so those would be the best days to go.
