Below the summit Trig Point on the western flanks of Benson Knott overlooking Kendal.
'Lilian's Lookout' is dedicated to a very, very special lady whose view each morning when she drew her kitchen curtains, (before she came to live with us recently), was Benson Knott.
Lilian is 88 years old today -12th July 2005- and she is indeed an inspiration.
Lilian is the best Mam and best Nan and we love her dearly.
She enjoys our tales of geocachingand geocaches from her chair and looks forward to the trinkets we bring back home for her, (but she especially loves it when we find a Travel Bug !!)
Therefore, we have set up this cache for Lilian on her birthday as a tribute to a wonderful person.
