Strawberry Shed Traditional Cache
StoneBob: Sorry to have to archive this cache. It has been very popular for the area but the cache has been raided too many times to keep it available. The exchange rule ( leave the same or more) seems to have been forgotten and the cache has fallen to beer bottles and other trash.

This cache is located off a dirt road near Germania and Gaines near the Tioga and Potter County line. It is on a private road and was placed with the permission of the landowner. Easy Access, close parking. The road is slippery when snowy, muddy when wet, and very dusty when dry.
Leave Route 6 at Watrous, go thru Marshlands, turning onto dirt road when exiting village. Go about 5 miles. Look for a private dirt road (marked as private). The cache is marked with a green, blue and red snail. If you don't see it, you are not in the right place. Road is maintained up to the private road during the winter but not past it. This cache can be driven up to within 30 feet. Roads may be snow-covered in winter. This area is covered with wild strawberries during the early summer.
