Topanga State Park: The cache is near the top of an infrequently visited peak about 3/10 mile E of Eagle Rock. It's a 5" x 3" x 2" camo'd heavy duty plastic box with a log, pen & some small trade items. The walkup to the cache is steep and covered with loose crumbling rocks. Be EXTRA careful. There's no bushwhacking and no need to approach any edges or dropoffs.
This was the location of "I Can See My House From Here" (GCMCEQ) by LOSTinLA. I was FTF on Jan 1, 2005. But the cache soon washed away and the owner moved out of state. I like the spot - especially when neighboring Eagle Rock is overrun by muggles. If the cache looks like it too might wash away or slide downhill you have permission to hide it better or more securely within 6 feet. Thanks
