Førdes minste fjell / Førdes smallest mountain
På få minutters gange kan ein her få ei flott utsikt over sentrum og fjorden. På Kletten er der mange bunkerar og krigsstillingar frå 2.verdskrig. Frå Kletten har du utsyn til dei viktigaste tyske anlegga i Førde, og til staden der det Canadiske flyet med Phil Myrick og Claude Berges styrta i Førdefjorden under "Den svarte fredagen" 9.februar 1945. Dette var det største luftslaget over norsk jord under 2.verdskrig.
Cachen ligger på toppen av fjellet "Kletten". Parkering ved fotballbanen på Haugum. Vær nøye med å legge boksen tilbake nøyaktig slik du fant den.
In just a few minutes walk, you can here get a nice view over central Førde and the fjord. There are lots of bunkers and posts from 2nd world war. From Kletten you are able to see the most important german war constructions in Førde and also the place where the Canadian plane with Phil Myrick and Claude Berges crash landed in the Førde fjord during "The black friday" 9th of february 1945. This was the biggest air battle over norwegian land during the 2nd world war.
The cache is located on top of the small mountain "Kletten". Parking is possible by the soccer field at Haugum. Be sure to put the cache exactly back as you found it.
