Geocache Description:

To celebrate this years CITO week come and join us to clean up the Local Nature Reserve in Kincorth.

This site forms part of ‘the Gramps’ and is one of the largest remaining areas of semi-natural vegetation in the Aberdeen City region. It is dominated by gorse/broom and willow scrub with dry heathland on the higher ground. Scattered trees, neutral grassland and small patches of wet heathland are also present. The proximity of the site to residential areas of the City makes it an important recreational and educational resource. The majority of Kincorth Hill is classified as a Local Nature Reserve.

Meet at the car park at the coordinates at 11:30am for safety and PPE discussion from Rangers. Litter pickers and bags will be provided by the Rangers but please where possible bring your own gloves. We will complete the CITO by 13:30 and arrangements for eating will be made closer to the date for those who wish to.  New catchers especially welcome, any questions at all please send me a private message 😊
