Geocache Description:

The second in the "Curse of the FTF (Wellington)" series of caches.

The rules are really simple ...
Guidelines for this Series:
  1. FTF'er should place the next cache in the series (in this case, Curse of the FTF #3 (Wellington) .... ) within 1 month. Please note only the FTF'er should place the next cache and not every person that finds the cache.
  2. You can only be the FTF for this series once, and no joint FTFs will be accepted on these caches. This spreads the FTF love around, and gives others a chance to play along. (This is at least until everyone who wants to has had ago at FTF).
  3. Cache can be any size or type (Puzzle, Multi, Trad, etc.), but I do ask that you set it within the Greater Wellington Area (Wellington, Hutt Valley, Wainuiomata, and Kapiti Coast up to Waikanae), and if it is a puzzle then it cannot be too hard, as it should be easy enough for everyone to find.
  4. You must include this set of guidelines in your listing for the series. I will be happy to answer any questions concerning the guidelines or about the placing of caches to those who have not placed a cache before.

There is no requirement besides the standard signing of the cache log to prevent you from logging this cache when found. Everyone should log their find, and hopefully the FTF person will play along and place another cache, but it is in no way a requirement for logging your find. But if you don't intend to carry on the series, please do not claim the FTF, and leave it for someone else.

Getting to the Cache

There are numerous ways to get to the cache. I’ve posted a waypoint for the start of a track that has convenient parking nearby. When you are about 30m from the cache, you will need to duck off the main track and follow a goat track into the bush. Because of the heavy canopy cover, satellite reception will be patchy at GZ, but the cache is big and the hint should get you there if the GPS doesn’t.

You are looking for an ammo can, which contained an eclectic mix of goodies when placed, as well as the usual logbook and pen. The FTF is welcome to take one of the items as a prize, if any take their fancy.

Remember - No joint FTFs accepted on these caches!!

Thanks to Boxhill for initiating the "Curse of the FTF (Wellington)" Series.
