As part of our badge earning activities this term, the Gwynneville Junior Girl Guides are searching for geocaches in the surrounding community. With the Hall across the road from Wiseman Park, we found this to be the perfect opportunity to get the girls to explore the parkland safely. Through this the girls are learning how to use a GPS, follow instructions, problem solve, and interact with the environment in a positive and sustainable manner.
The Platypus cache has been placed in this location as the Gwynneville shops and Wiseman Park playground are a short walk away. This location is great for a lunch in the park and is perfect for cachers of all ages!
This cache is named after the Platypus Patrol of the Junior Guides Unit and does not contain a pen, so please remember to bring one.
