Spring CITO season is here! This spring we will be back at Princeton City Park to help with some prep work to get their Pollinator Garden ready for the summer! There are some lovely volunteers who work on this garden faithfully and bring lots of beautiful pollinators to the area. It is very well-kept. You will probably learn some plant identification while here as everything in the garden is labeled!
There will be garden tidy-up, maybe planting, and they would like some help building a home for solo bees. There is a parking lot close by and this will be very flat terrain, so it should be easy for anyone to come and help! If you have gardening gloves, a bucket for putting weeds in and a weeding tool with you, that will be helpful. If not, I'm sure that there are still things that you can do! . We'll start at 1:00pm and cleanup for as long as we have energy too. I will bring some water as well in case anyone gets thirsty. Just follow the road through the park until you see the pool and park in the pool parking lot.
So, let's help Princeton City Park take care of their garden as they are hosts to some of our local caches! Of course, those caches will be there to find as well if you want to find them prior to the event. If you attend this CITO, you'll get your spring CITO 2024 souvenir on your geocaching profile. We will clean up the area, rain or shine!
