A Bit of History

On November 29, 1864, the Colorado U.S. Cavalry attacked the Cheyenne and Arapaho village near sand creek.

Most of this army was made up of volunteers. The rest was under the command of Captain Silas Soule and Lieutenant Joseph Cramer.

Both men commanded their experienced troops to not attack. If it was not for them, then very few Cheyenne and Arapaho would have escaped.

Congrats to North Coast Cacher on FTF!
