You are probably familiar with the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff. Three goats try to cross a bridge to greener pastures, only to be challenged by a troll, who they eventually throw into the water.
The children's story ends there, leaving a pleasant thought of goats happily frolicking in the pasture on the other side. What the stories miss, is that trolls can swim, and they hold really long grudges! The troll drug itself out of the water shortly downstream, and made a new home under this iron bridge. The story of the goats may be almost 200 years old, but the troll is still mad!
It is highly recommended that you never cross this bridge with a goat for company, you might anger the troll below. Locals don't recommend exploring under this bridge either, as the troll might mistake you for a goat if you wake it up.
No, to safely cross the bridge, best stay on the path. You might just make it to greener pastures if you do!
