Who is Sanlito? Traditional Cache
Shark Bite: The cache has gone missing, and I'm not able to properly maintain it anymore, so it'll have to be archived. Hope someone else can use the spot for another cache someday.

I named this cache “Who is Sanlito?” because originally I was going to put place the cache at the base of a large tree until I walked up to it and saw that it had ‘SANLITO’ carved into it. A little disappointed I walked up the small trail about 50 more feet and found a better spot for it.
This cache is located on the Aiea Loop Trail about halfway through the loop. It’s probably a little more towards the end of it if you start going clockwise... maybe 3 mile in. Regardless, it is close enough to a lot more caches on this trail to make it a very productive hiking/caching day. One cache that you will not want to miss is the 8th oldest ACTIVE catch in the world. It was actually the 23rd cache placed on the planet, but most of the others have succumbed to their age.
Walking at a slow pace and taking 6 breaks along the way find geo caches and one long break to place this cache, the entire loop took my family just over four hours. It was muddy and I was carrying my 8 month old daughter on my back, so I imagine that you will do it just as fast, if not faster.
Watch your step and bring plenty of water. The views are great and you might want to bring a picnic lunch to eat along the way. Where this cache is located you can enjoy a great view and have less Muggles to worry about than you would if you sat on one of the benches on the trail.
When you are arriving at the cache, there is no need to climb the steep ledge up to the GZ. Take the smoother, more gradual climb from a small path just off the main trail. (As you are going up the smaller path, the main trail will be on your right side.) This is not intended to be a hard cache so please be careful, use your judgment and read the hint if you have trouble finding it. The first hint is found in the first two sentences of this description. The real hint will give it away!
For the First to Find, I left a Geo Coin which is not activated. You can activate it at: geocoin.de. It is a 2009 Influenza - Fever Edition coin and you can send it on whatever mission you like, or just keep it for your collection.
Have fun and happy trails to all the Cachers!
