This is fairly flat land and near a ditch. Be careful because the ditch is full of tubbleweeds. This is a fairly easy cache to find. Please bring your own writing instument.
The old school house that you can see to the south is one that was used in early 1900's. This is the origional location. It was a one room school house and the teacher was Ms. Patty Roy. At one time there was an indian uprise from rocky ridge and someone came to the school house and let Ms. Roy know and they got the children to a nearby hay stack and hid them inside. The indians came and poked the haystack with their arrows and never found the children so they went on. Only if buildings could talk we would know so many more stories. There are so many sites like this that the history is being lost. As we get older we wish we would have listened to the stories our grandparents told us.
