This cache has been placed for KACHE 4, an annual event hosted by the Kingston and Area Geocachers (GC3573R). The theme of this year’s event is "Things that make Kingston
Special" and the city's proximity to the Cataraqui Trail, one of the longest rail trails in Ontario, is certainly one of those special things. This cache should not be found or logged until after 6:00 a.m., November 5th 2011.
After being so helpful in placing the nearby rail trail series of caches, my junior Trail Blaiser deserved to place a couple of her own. This one she named after the thick grassy plants that are so abundant on this section of trail - she's right that they do look like mini-bamboo.
