Welcome to the Sparks Old School Park and Woods Multi Cache. Stages 1-4 will take you threw the sites there are to see here at the old school grounds. Please Respect the land and it's history and maybe even give the property a Google to learn of it's past if you don't already know it.

Directions:

You start at stage one where you will need to find the hidden cache, inside that cache you will find cords. Once you spot the cords place them into your GPS or Google Maps or what ever you use to compute cords then head off to the next stages. All the stages will work this way EXCEPT for the FINAL. For the FINAL you must find cache stage 3 then take down in your trusty Geojournal (Assuming you have one) the half set of cords then you will read below the question you must answer in order to solve the FINALs coordinates missing numbers equal to ABCDEF. Read below for additional Hints, info on hides and of course the 2 questions for the final! GOOD LUCK FRIENDS!!!

Stage1

As you stand here, in the out of bounds area imagine all the happy children who have played here, can you feel the positive energy that has imprinted it's self here? Now imagine this all those games that have been played on this field all those years and still sometimes used. All those homeruns hit, all the FOUL BALLS that have landed where you have planted you feet onto that very sandy water logged ground and BALLS that have flown up into all those TREES you see around you..... Imagine that as you find this cache..... Maybe if your lucky you will hear the spirits of the ground at play

Stage 2

Now that you have the coordinates for stage 2 you will find that you are heading into the forgotten, and sadly no longer maintained trails that wrap threw this small park sparks. If you follow the way we walked then you find that you do not have to physically cross the water so be mindful of where to step as you do not have to cross the stream on foot once so ever however if you like during the summer months you can cross it, cray fish it if you will, or down right swim threw, heck climb a tree and jump into it just don't get hurt as it's never very deep in other words have fun like the children who once played on these grounds did so long ago! Back to the subject at hand, take a momemt look all around you. Take notice of the aging TREES how wide and long, how the VINES are HUGGING AND WRAPPING AROUND SOME, or how others have fallen and are dying while giving life to other organisms. There may not be many people who frequent threw here yet there's still all kinds of life and energy flowing threw. Imagine if the TREES could talk, the story's they would tell of children galloping about the woods, couples strolling or even the occasional teens hiding behind THE LARGEST AND THICKEST TREES to male out under the spring son seeking shade.... Imagine that as you find this cache and record the coordinates for stage 3.......

Stage 3

Assuming you have followed your Gps threw the woods and that you have stumbled upon an odd and confusing placement of bleachers what do you think we should be cheering For? We chose this location for obvious reasons, it is just down right strange to see these left here in what seems to have always been a wooded area..... How did they get them here? Notice how the TREES have grown in a ways around them? So odd we felt and thought to our selves. Anyway while you are imagine why these bleachers are placed here, imagine how this piece of land is so forgotten in time that this even exists back in these woods....... perhaps you can use these to your advantage perhaps what you seek is inside them? Thats for you to find out! When you do find what you seek be sure to record those trusty cords then use the questions below to obtain the solve for ABC & DEF. GOOD LUCK!

Question One for the FINAL

This retired Ball player who is number 33 on the All Time Home Run List, is my all time favorite baseball player. The answer to ABC is his total number of home runs minus 80. (EX: X-80=ABC)

Question two for the FINAL

The worlds longest home run record in feet is held by Mickey Mantle to this day it is still held! It was recorded on September 10th, 1960. The home runs total distance is DEF Feet.

The Final once you have the cords solved and computed into your GPS should be pretty easy to find. While there imagine what this park use to be like years ago before the school closed down. Imagine what would be taking place here if things were still the same today as they were then would kids be playing baseball would the be making baskets on the court or running past you to exor the woods? However no kids are doing any of that here today because SCHOOL IS OUT FOREVER.
