When I was first married in 1972 we lived near Oratia .....And my 3 eldest kids began school at Oratia .
So I still have lots of memories and a strong affinity with the area ,,,,Therefore I'm keen to see some more geocaches here .
The beautiful artwork on the Green Electrical box reminded me of the school centenary celebrations back in 1882..
I rember a song called " Oratia My Valley " composed and sung by Rude Sunde at the time ......Somewhere I will have a record of it.
I decided not to spoil the artwork by putting a cache on or nearby the box...but please do admire it!
The cache is near a structure with a seat insde ! But the cache is not on or in this structure but a few steps to the right ! ( Road behind you )
Once you have found it you can sit and sign however !
