This Offset cache provides views of the old Chipping Sodbury Station site.

The co-ordinates above are for a micro containing the final cache location. The site of this micro provides an excellent view of the old station.
The walk to the final cache location is then by public footpath down the side of the railway line where closer views of the station are to be had.
Chipping Sodbury Station was opened in 1903 and closed in 1961. The closure was during the time of Dr. Beeching but was not part of the infamous Beeching Axe. Some more information can be found here (visit link) .
