Geocache Description:

Picnic area, off the road and with limited parking. Great view here and a spot to get out, stretch, and have a snack. No major bushwhacking required, no poison oak seen while I was here.

Small tupperware style container, clear/white in color. About the size of an Altoids tin.

Contents when left are a log, small pencil, small trinkets.. some are: a fuzzy chick, metal charm, iron on patch & a bell.

Some days the weather, or mood is just not right for hiking. Mount Diablo is still a terrific place to visit, and now there are at least a couple of auto accessible caches to be found here.

Park is open 8a- sunset. There is a fee to enter Mount Diablo State Park:

Main Entrances Fee - $10.00 per car / Seniors 62 and over - $9.00 per car
Mitchell Canyon and Macedo Ranch - $6.00 per car / Seniors 62 and over - $5.00 per car

Well worth it to support EBRPD
