There is no escape from the fogs of war, even in this neighborhood.
Occasionally, stray munitions are scattered around this area.
Unlike certain depth charges, the range of these munitions are in
hundreds of yards, not 528'. Furthermore, their accuracy is so
suspect that in the interest of public safety, their use is
restricted to members-only battlefields.
Fortunately, Geocachers have access to a secluded practice area
near a public pathway, where they can inspect one of these
munitions firsthand without sacrificing their own safety. Solution
to the following puzzle will reveal the location to one of the very
few defused ordinances left in the area:

The canister contains only a log sheet, please bring your own
pen or pencil. Be sure to read the instructions on how to open
it.
You can hike the path to GCK97T, "Los Altos Hills Pathways: Mary
Stutz Path" and might notice a miniaturized members-only
battlefield to the south of the path along the way.
