Aqua Tucked Traditional Cache
thebyrdcache: Sad to let our first cache go, but it seems that the powers that be don't want it there. We'll create a new cache in this area soon.

Our first cache - extremely easy. Our family is looking forward to providing some more challenging caches in the near future, but for now we are still learning.
The Catskill Aqueduct brings water from Upstate New York to Yonkers and eventually to NYC. I was living right near the Croton Aqueduct, in Tarrytown, when I met my wife, and after we got married we moved to an apartment in Ossining, and the Croton Aqueduct was again right behind our apartment building. Years later, we bought a house in Cortlandt Manor and found ourselves just a stone's throw from an aqueduct once again - this time the Catskill Aqueduct. This cache resides near where the Aqueduct crosses Locust Avenue and continues through the woods for quite a ways North before reaching another roadway.
