Fairly easy park-and-grab, with a beautiful view of the mural tribute to Red Arrow Soldiers. While there, stop for a budget friendly bite to eat, at the best burger joint in town... "Late's", across the street. Congratulations to Bethsc22 on FTF! 🤗

"The mural, which is on the side of the Historic Richter Vinegar Plant, was inspired by a black-and-white photo of a 32nd Infantry Division (Red Arrow Brigade) soldier, D.F. Hirsch, of Milwaukee, a Specialist Fourth Class. His image was taken by a military photographer during training at Fort Lewis in Washington state in May 1962, preparing for a potential threat in Berlin. A red arrow is painted next to the soldier’s image, as it is the emblem of the 32nd Infantry Division. The arrow points skyward in the mural, symbolizing the persistence and fortification the division showed during both World War I and World War II, specifically for their notoriety of piercing enemy lines and overcoming impossible obstacles. The mural, which is between 30 and 35 feet tall and wide, was recently finished in a collaborative effort between LaBonte and artists Justin Baldwin and David Carpenter in a matter of two weeks.
