Die Studentenwohnheime in der Hochschulstraße bieten seit den frühen 80ern ca 1000 Studenten in 3 Hochhäusern ein bezahlbares Zuhause. Die Hochschulstraße 50 (grün) wurde von 2004 bis 2006 saniert und beheimatet seitdem das Internationale Gästehaus. Vor genau 10 Jahren wurde seine Sanierung abgeschlossen. Die anderen beiden Gebäude sind "normale" Wohnheime, aber mit insgesamt ca 35 Nationalitäten fast genau so international.

Build up in the early 1980s, the student residences at the Hochschulstraße offer accommodation to almost 1000 students. The complex consists of the International Guesthouse of the student agency in the green HSS50, the golden dorm HSS48 and the grey/orange HSS46 with its unusual study boxes. Nevertheless they are made with precast concrete slabs. This modern face was added while the dorms were renovated from 2004-2008.
