"Turkeys Away" was the 7th episode of the first season of "WKRP In Cincinatti" and first aired on October 30, 1978. It is conceded to have been the best episode of the series, and was ranked #40 on TVGuide's "Best 100 TV episodes of all time".
Station boss, Arthur Carlson, feeling left out of the loop, decides on a unique Thanksgiving promotion involving a turkey giveaway, which becomes memorable for the wrong reason.
