geoWALK - Stage Coach Line Wherigo Cache

This cache has been archived.

bretina: This was put out originally for a geoWALK event we were running. Left it out for further use. GZ has completely changed since we placed it, and this is a little further away then we can do for easy cache maintenance, so am going to put this one down.

Geocache Description:

Embark on a 5k walk (3.1 mile) at Stagecoach Park in Middleville.

Although the Pony Express is often credited with being the first fast mail line across the North American continent from the Missouri River to the Pacific Coast, the Butterfield Stage predated the Pony Express by nearly three years. For this wherigo, you'll be riding on a Stagecoach helping to ensure mail delivery.

This wherigo was released as part of the August 2014 geoWalk event, but can be run outside of that. The purpose of the geoWalk events are for exercise and socialization, and the purpose of the linked wherigos is to provide a variety of 5k 'walking trails', and timings on the trip. There is no penalty for your walk time, do it at your own pace.
