One of a series of caches placed along the lakeside walk down the western shore of Windermere from Wray castle to Ferry House
Micro with Log book, bring your own pencil, by the side of the path in a spot with stunning views across and down the lake.
In the season, this run of caches can be found using the Windermere Lake Cruises Walkers ticket to make a nice round trip. Boat from Ambleside to Wray harbour, the shuttle from Ferry House to Bowness and the launch from Bowness to Waterhead via Brockhole all on one ticket.
