Geocache Description:

This is Flag Day Too! I am placing this cache in honor of Flag Day, the Fourth of July and support of our troops I am placing this cache. The first stage is a magnet and the second is the cache. (Walking distance between the two.) Bring something flag related to trade.

This cache got its inspiration from my Flag Day cache in Woburn. The above coordinates are near the suggested parking location. For this cache you will need to find the bridge in Medford flying many flags in support of our troops.

To find this cache you will need to know three things:
  • When is Flag Day – Day and month
  • When is Veterans Day
  • Where is the bridge in Medford with all the flags flying on it

There is a bridge in Medford that has many, many flags displayed on it. You can see the bridge while doing 55 mph, but don’t stop there. Get off on the rotary and make your way to the parking location. Keep your feet on the sidewalk and head to the center of a bridge. (Last three digits of N is 702, of W is 194) Find the magnet with the coordinates and follow the directions to find the cache container.

To get to the container you can pass back by the parking area. You will find a stone bridge (N .836 W .352) which will take you into the woods. This spot is much more scenic than the original Flag Day cache. The container holds all stuff that is American Flag related. Please try to swap stuff that has a flag on it or some how related.

Words of warning, keep your feet on the ground at all times, no climbing needed. Don’t hop any fences or walls. Be careful of cars on the rotery. When done put the magnet and cache back as you found it.

God Bless,

Loch Cache & Loch Cache 3 & 4
