WWFM X – A SOLO EVENT!
As the name implies this event I'm a big fan of Han Solo and to fit with the WWFM X theme, the event will be based around Star Wars so be creative and have fun. Get there early but stay away from GZ and act like a muggle before the event starts (don't congregate with other geocachers).
At 1700 on Saturday 4th May on your GPS receiver all meet at GZ where you can log your attendance. A group photograph will be taken at the end of the event.

The event is intended to only last for 15 minutes so at the end of that time leave without a trace but plan to meet up with other geocachers later to spend a fun evening caching!
Please be sure to submit your "attended" log within 2 weeks after the event, in order to receive a special Geocaching.com WWFM X SOUVENIR.
Some more background on "flash mob events". They are supposed to be "surprising" to the unsuspecting public (hence the request not to meet at GZ until the event starts). And they are suppose to "disappear" as quickly as they started (hence the requirement to leave GZ promptly). In between is a normal event though to get through the prize draw we will need to be quick.

I encourage attendees to dress in Star Wars theme or bring their favourite Star Wars object. However THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT TO ATTEND. Signing the attendance log is the only requirement to log a smiley

A reminder that geocaching.com rules means I cannot require you to do or bring anything other than sign the log sheet. Events are always a great chance to meet other cachers, swap hints and tricks. Though we are required to leave GZ, I can encourage people to meet at the parking way point (near a nice oval) where you can continue mingling and chatting to your hearts content.
