Congrats to Shadow_Lang for the FTF!
The above coords are not real! You must solve the puzzle
for the correct coords.
School is back in session and us teachers use the first week or
two to grasp what our students know (or in some cases, what they
forgot!) to see what we need to review before going on to the
curriculum.
I gave the following geography quiz to my students as an ice
breaker and to secretly find out just how much they know/recall
about world geography. It was a lot of fun. No, really.
How many of the below can you identify correctly? I've done the 1st
for you. You're welcome.
Be sure to spell the country correctly. One letter per "X" and
if there is a number in the spot, use that letter for the graph
below to find the coords. (Eliminate all articles such as A, An,
The, etc. in your answer. If your answer is The Arabian Sea,
eliminate "The" and your answer will be Arabian Sea.)
Example: What country needs feeding?
Hungary. (get it - Hungry?)
OK. Ready? Go.
Name the country that:
- can be served in a bowl. 3XXXX
- is fishy. X8XXXXX
- will be on your christmas table. XXXX7
- is on your table for Thanksgiving. XX8XXX
- is a ginger ale. XX6XXX XXX
- you do not want in your hair. XXXXX1
- has a virus. XXXXXX9
- is freezing. XXX5XXX
- is always in a hurry. X2XXXX
- needs a poverty program. X4XXXX
- said that it was in a race. 8XXX
- is a large university in NYC. XXXX0XXX
- is an island tree in the Okefenokee Swamp. XXX8XX
- features the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and David
Schwimmer. XXXXXXX4XX
- Van Halen sings about. X7XXXX
What body of water:
- is blushing? 8XX XXX
- needs to be buried? X1XX XXX
- was the original american? XXXXXX 4XXXX
- is a tiger?XXX XX XXXXX5
- is a coward? XXXXXX X1X
OK, now that you've got the answers, use the following chart to
determine the correct coords. Make sure you have the correct
spelling!
CC.LN.LYR
URO.CE.ARN
A special thanks to you-know-who for helping!
School related cache items will be found if you are correct!
*OOPS* Thanks to all those for the corrections. See, even us
teachers make misteaks too ;)
