Aj ked prva zmienka o Oravskej Polhore pochadza uz z roku 1588, prva kaplnka bol postaveny az v roku 1928 a nachadza sa pri keske. Moj pra stary otec bol kostolnikom v tejto kaplnke. Ked sme boli male deti a chodili sme na prazdniny ku starkej, tak sme sa casto hravali v tejto kaplne. Kaplnka ma svoje zvony, ktore sa pouzivali pri poziaroch a taktiez pri velkych burkach. Teraz sa kaplnka pouziva len cez vynimocne sviatky. V okoli kaplnky sa zastupcovia obce snazia vybudovat oddychove centrum obce. Na kopci nad kaplnkou sa nachadza kostol pre Oravsku Polhoru, ktory taktiez stoji za navstevu - nema oltar, ale velku sochu Krista.
PS1: Davajte si pozor, polhorske babky su velmi vsimave a su vsade :-)
PS2: Myslim, ze keska nie je pristupna cez zimu so snehom :-)

Even first knowledge about Oravska Polhora is from 1588, first chapel was build in 1928. This chapel is close to cache. My grand grand father was sexton at this chapel. When I was little kid I spent lot of time during holiday at my grand mother house. We played at this chapel, because we had keys from it. Chapel's bell was used during fires in village and also when huge storms was comming. This chapel is now used only when some christian celebrations. You can find out main church on hill upon chapel. This main church is interesting, because there is no ordinary altar - there is huge statue of Christ.
PS1: Be aware of mudles. Also old ladies - they are curious and they are everywhere :-)
PS2: I don't think cache is available during winter, because there can be lot of snow :-)
