This short event is syncronized with flash mobs around the world! For and example check out http://youtube.com/watch?v=zCksiD53U2s for a previous event.
Flash mobs are a new thing that popped up in society thanks to the prevalence of the internet in all its forms. This time the mob is being coordinated through the help of Sonny and Sandy in San Diego, via their podcast. It takes more than 1 person to make a mob though, so PLEASE SOMEONE ELSE ATTEND!! Otherwise I'll be standing there thinking of the quote I've heard recently, "A leader without any followers is just going for a walk [standing alone in this case]." The event will begin promptly at 1800hrs local time and will promptly end at 1815hrs. Then WE [again, hopefully not just I] will disperse and go on about our regular business.
If you're planning to "attend" please add this cache to your watch listing so that you can be updated on any late breaking announcements. Also, be sure to tune into Sonny and Sandy's podcast after the event. They will be drawing names from the log sheets from around the world and giving out some door prizes.
