Geocache Description:

Park in the Information Center parking lot just off the TCH near the junction with route 390. The cache should take you 5 to 10 min to find. The terrain is relatively flat with some low brush.

Located about half way between Deer Lake and Grand Falls, this cache is a great place to gas up, stretch your legs and have a picnic. Look for the ICEBERG that never melts near the Springdale Junction. The Green Bay Tourist Information Center will help you plan your vacation in this scenic part of the province. The landscape reflects rugged beauty with its sandy beaches, majestic waterfalls, salmon rivers, mountains and valleys. A variety of hiking trails varying from a few minutes to 4 or 5 hours have been developed in the area. Depending on the season, Arctic flow ice,icebergs, whales, bald eagles and many other forms of wildlife can be observed in the area.
