Geocache Description:

Agios Georgos is a little chapel on a mountaintop near Vrises in the west part of Crete, 4 km at south of Platanias.
From there you have a fantastic view over the area. To reach the top, you have to bridge 250 meters difference in height. Depending of the chosen way back, the trip takes about 1½ ours (by foot).

You can park your car at N 35° 29.645 E 023° 53.445, take the path eastward and find your way to the cache.
Don’t forget to close the fences you cross.

There are several ways back to Vrises, choose your own way.

Small note on cache maintenance: We have made contact to a Greek geocacher (OMILOS) and he will do the maintenance for us. THANKS!!!
