Another park cache. Overlooking the Homme Adams park in Palm Desert.
The Homme Adams park in Palm Desert is not what most people would think of when they hear the term "park" but while it does lack grass it does allow dogs to be off leash. The terms are that the dog must be within verbal command range. Once on the trails however your dog will have to be back on leash. Given that this is a desert, the landscaping is appropriate. Not much for facilities here - water fountains and a shade structure are it. If you take a very short hike up a hill to the "Enstrom Point" earth cache you will be rewarded with a good view of Palm Desert.
Terrain listed as "2" due to walking in loose sand/rocks. Cache is a cylinder skinnier than, but longer than a traditional film container. Log only, bring your own writing stick. Might need TOTT to extract log. Please rehide carefully when done.
Congratulations to Donj51 for FTF!
