A series of caches hidden to celebrate the locations of Scout Groups that have existed in Keirawarra (Scout) District (Helensburgh to Mount Kembla). It is 90 years this year (2013) since the opening of the first Scout Groups in the Wollongong Districts.
1st Coledale Scout Group Headquarters - 1 Coledale Avenue Coledale.
This Scout Group started meeting with 1st Austinmer in the early 1980s due to low numbers. By the middle of the decade the Group was closed.
Up until a couple of years ago the Hall was used as a District storage Hall, and also as a Holiday Hall for other Groups. The 1st Thirroul Group met here whilst their new Hall was being built. However, the Hall has recently been sold, and is now a private residence. It is no doubt only a matter of time before it is knocked down to make way for a new dwelling.
