Geocache Description:

This cache was placed to honor Tyson Sprandel's 5000th find. If your name is Tyson Sprandel it was meant to be found on or after #5000 so no FTF this time. That means #5000 online since we all know you have probably already met this milestone with all the caches you have forgot to log over the years.

Having cached with Tyson numerous times over the years one of his classic lines is "that's a good hide" when you find a less then original hide. Hence the name of the cache. Hopefully, everyone will walk away from this one saying the same thing in a good sense.

If you have never had the pleasure of meeting Tyson Sprandel then you have not met one of the really great persons in geocaching. He is always good for a laugh, story, and an all around good time.

If you do know Tyson Sprandel then please post any good stories you may have from venturing in the woods with him. A few of mine:

1. The first time out geocaching with him he ended up sitting in the creek not on purpose.

2. The day he wanted to get a closer picture of the hibernating bear since 10 ft. was not close enough. When the group decided that was not the best choice the next thing he decided to do was throw a stick into the den.

3. After scaling the side of a pretty steep mountain in the ice and snow and returning to the creek I asked him again his age. The answer was that he is as old as my mother and she would not be able to do 10% of the hikes I have done with Tyson.

Finally although I placed this cache the idea for placing; it was from a few different cachers. Each of them will let you know in their own way when the time is appropriate.
