Geocache Description:

Friends of Scouting  (FOS) Gardner Dam

Friends of Scouting  (FOS) Gardner Dam has been placed on a Bay Lake Council Scout Camp.  With the permission of the Camp Ranger Duane Hille  this cache was placed during Arctic Adventure weekend for Venturing Scouts in 2012 by Venturing Crew 9141 out of Combined Locks WI.

The name FOS Gardner Dam comes from the partnership between Scouting and the communities that the BSA and Bay Lake Council serve. As you visit the cache please take a few minutes to see all that Scouting has to offer in development of our youth and the opportunity for adults and communities to be involved.

This cached located just off a hiking/biking trail on the boundary of State and Bay Lakes Council Property.  If you enter from Scout property, please ensure to see the Camp Ranger so that he knows you’re out there seeking the cache.  If care is taken on the route chosen off the trail there should be little to no bush whacking. The route to the cache is up hill and is moderate, watch your step.  You are seeking a Blue Friends of Scouting water bottle.   There are small trade items, log, pencil and a sharpener in the cache so please log your visit.

And remember to use all 7 principles of Leave No Trace.

Please place the container back just as you found it and leave log, pencil and sharpener with the cache.

For FTF there is a $1.00 Coin.
