Sunrise
Surprise
A wonderful spot in the desert
- not too far from Abu Dhabi. We went out and had a picnic while
watching the sun rise. It took us about 40 minutes from Abu Dhabi -
so could leave early and still make a wonderful sunrise.
Great spots close by for a swim in clear water with no rocks
underfoot. Nice and shallow - but the current does get a little
strong in the main channel.
Watching the sun rise - an awesome
experience.

Also there are stromatolites growing in the Sabkha - a very
interesting phenomenon.
